We have an exciting opportunity to join a great client of ours supporting with Sample Production.

The key objectives of the role are to assist with production of samples for internal and external clients.

This is a great entry-level position into a lab environment in an exciting sector. Although previous experience in a lab would be beneficial, a scientific background (perhaps through education) would suffice.

Duties Include:

• Production of samples

• Follow internal and customer formulations accurately

• Maintain daily records of all samples made in the laboratory

• General laboratory housekeeping including maintaining a well organised environment, monitoring stock of consumables used, etc.

• Adhere to a high level of GLP and GMP

• Awareness of and compliance with related regulatory and legal requirements

• Attention to detail and accurate record keeping

• Observing all health and safety requirements and reporting near misses or non-confirmation to line or health and safety Manager

• Filing of samples, raw materials and documentation on a daily basis

• Proactive in achieving continuous improvement within the Application Laboratory

• Carry out ad hoc duties of a similar level and responsibility for other managers and departments, as necessary, with a willingness to be flexible with working hours to respond to the needs of the company

• Undertake training consistent with developing skills relevant to those duties and responsibilities of the role

• Be vigilant in matters relating to health and safety within the laboratory and on site

Hours – 35 hours per week with shifts available 6am – 2pm, 11 – 7pm or 1pm – 9pm with a short 6 hour day on a friday.
